Henry Visit’s the Skateboarding Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame Visit

1555 Simi Town Center Way #230
Simi Valley, CA 93065

Today I decided to visit the Hall of Fame for Skateboarding in Simi Valley California.

As VIRUS played a part in the UK Punk/Metal Skate Scene I was curious what I would find at the Hall of Fame. Thinking it would be just for  Families and kids etc. To my complete surprise I was greeted by a Old-School Skater of my age and given a extensional personal tour. I couldn’t believe the amount of skateboard history in this place, the vintage decks the the graphics brought back some many teenage memories.. I was blown away.

I remembered I packed a little gift for the museum it was a vintage Slam City Skates Battle of the Eyes… Sticker from 1987 which I have kept in a press folder for 30 something years. A perfect place for my little piece of skate history. It from when VIRUS played with Suicidal Tendencies, their first gig in London. Always remember the pro skaters that came to the show which was sold out.

This place is amazing If your visiting Los Angeles/California and have some skate history from back in the 80’s 90’s this is a must to visit. Made my day.
